The direction of induced current produced in a straight conductor(or wire) moving in a magnetic field is given by Fleming's Right-Hand Rule.
According to Fleming's Right-Hand rule :-Hold the thumb, the fore finger and the centre finger of your right-hand at right angles to one another.
Adjust your hand in such a way that forefinger points in the direction of magnetic field, and thumb points in the direction of motion of the conductor, then the direction in which the centre finger points, give the direction of induced current in the conductor.
Note:-
- The direction of induced current in a straight conductor moving in a magnetic field is given by Fleming's Right-Hand Rule
- Fleming's Right-Hand Rule is use in Electric Generator to find out direction of current applied in conductor.
- In Permanent magnet stator Generator we know the magnetic field(B) direction(N⟶S), But in Temporary electromagnet Generator, magnetic field(B) of stator is not fixed it charge all time with rotor rotation.
